The Ultreya

The Ultreya is the members of friendship groups coming together in order to form a larger community. Whereas the Friendship Group Reunion provides for the good of the individual, the Ultreya provides for the good of the community. Both are essential in terms of the method. Both are important for the realization of the direction of our whole life in the light of the Gospel and the opportunity to share that life with other evangelizers.

The Ultreya always starts with prayer, followed by Group Reunion and completing with a witness talk. Two cursillistas provide a brief comment on the witness talk, followed by the Spiritual Advisor's summation. Whenever possible, a visit to the Blessed Sacrament and closing prayer complete the Ultreya.

Ultreyas are held on the second Saturday of each month at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church at 927 N. Logan. Ultreyas last about an hour and a half.
