Cursillo Outreach Program

We are asking each Cursillista to bring a canned good item with them to the Closing. Paper products or personal care items would also be welcomed. The items collected at the Closing would then be taken to BeConcerned.

We are not asking anyone to bring bags of items, just one item. We do not want to inconvenience anyone. But if each person brought one item, we would have several hundred items to share with those in need in our community.

Then when we celebrate the addition of new Cursillistas to our Cursillo community, BeConcerned and the people whom they serve would also have a reason to celebrate. They would come to look forward to the four Cursillos that we have each year as much as our community does.

As you arrive at St. Pius for the Closing (prior to 4:30pm on Sunday), just look for the sign or basket for BeConcerned. Thank you in advance for your support in this outreach.

PALANCA BOARDS
Everyone in the Cursillo Community is given the
opportunity to do Palanca for the upcoming weekends.
We have created Palanca Boards (Chapel Visit or 72 Hour Vigil).
To refresh your memory the Chapel Visit requires an individual
to come to the Catholic Center and sit in prayer in the Palanca Chapel
at a designated time during the weekend.

Check the forms above each of the following weekends
to view and the appropriate Palanca form, and sign up.

The 72 Hour Vigil does not require the individual to come to the Catholic Center
but, at a designated time of their choosing,
they spend time in prayer, thought or action for the team and candidates.
This time can be in the comfort of their own home, school or work place.
